Sawai Madhopur : A camp was organized by the Social and Justice Empowerment Department in the Panchayat Samiti premises for the necessary documents of the nomadic community, freedmen, nomads and semi-nomads residing in Gangapur City.
District Probation and Social Welfare Officer Laxman Singh and Development Officer Jagdish Gurjar formally inaugurated the camp. SDM Vijendra Meena inspected the camp. District Probation and Social Welfare Officer Laxman Singh said that the nomadic community residing in the district is free from the necessary documents like Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Jan Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate, Nomadic Caste Identity Certificate, Original Residence Certificate, etc. A camp has been organized for documents like ration card etc.
Apart from the nomadic community, the common people of the city also reached the camp to avail the benefits. During this, the people of the nomadic community applied for Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Jan Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate, Native Residence, Ration Card etc. At the same time, the blood sugar, blood pressure etc. of the people who came to the camp were tested free of cost by the medical department and the patients were also examined and distributed. People kept waiting in the camp throughout the day.
In the camp, people were benefited from the public welfare schemes like foster old age pension, widow pension etc. being run by the government department for the nomadic community. In the camp, blood sugar of 30 people and blood pressure of 33 people were checked by the medical department. Apart from this, caste certificates of 10 people were made. Apart from this, more than 200 applications for Jan Aadhar Card, original residence and caste certificate were received. Officers and employees of Panchayat Samiti, Social Welfare Department, Medical Department, City Council Logistics Department, Information Technology Statistics Department were present.
