Sawai Madhopur : Social security pensioners in Sawai Madhopur district will be able to get physical verification done till 31st December. A total of 1 lakh 66 thousand 319 pensioners in the district are taking pension benefits under the Social Security Pension Scheme. Out of which about 35 thousand pensioners have got the physical verification done.
Gaurishankar Meena, Deputy Director, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, said that the elderly, widows and specially abled people taking pension under the Social Security Pension Scheme will have to undergo physical verification by December 31, 2024 to keep the pension smooth.
In the absence of physical verification, pension amount will not be paid. He said that pensioners deprived of physical verification can get biometric verification done through fingerprint from E-Mitra Kiosk, Service Center, E-Mitra Plus.
Along with this, self-verification can also be done sitting at home through Rajasthan Social Pension and Aadhaar Phase RD (RajSSP) mobile app. He told that in case physical verification is not done even through the above medium, pensioners can get their physical verification done by appearing in person before the Regional Physical Verification Officer (Subdivision Officer/Development Officer) and linking the mobile OTP with the Aadhaar number.
