Sawai Madhopur : Baunli police station has today arrested the absconding accused Sardar Gurjar under the MMDR (Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation) Act regarding the area domination campaign being run at the range level. This action was taken by the team formed under the leadership of SHO Radharaman Gupta under the direction of SP Mamta Gupta.
ASI Rambabu Gurjar told that on November 8, under the direction of SP Mamta Gupta, Baunli police station had gone to take action against illegal gravel transportation. During this time, a tractor trolley which was transporting illegal gravel was seized near Galad village of the police station area. However the driver fled from the spot. The police station brought the seized tractor to Bauli police station and parked it. Meanwhile, Head Constable Sunil Kumar registered a case against the driver under the MMDR Act.
Under the Area Domination campaign, today Baunli police station took action in Bamboo Pulia village and arrested the accused Sardar son Har Sahay Gurjar resident of Chanda’s hut Bada village. SHO Radharaman Gupta said that action will continue as part of the campaign to arrest absconding and wanted accused.
