Sawai madhopur police arrested the accused in the case of illegal gravel storage.

Sawai Madhopur : Baunli police station is in action for the arrest of absconding accused. Baunli police station has today arrested the accused who was absconding for almost 10 months in the illegal gravel storage case. Baunli police station arrested the accused Pappu Lal under the MMDR Act (Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation) Act. This action was taken by Baunli police station under the direction of SP Mamta Gupta.

Baunli Police Station Head Constable Yogendra said that on January 16, 2024, a joint team of Mining Revenue and Police Department had taken action in Bandhawal village. During this period illegal gravel stocks were seized. Mining Department officer Ramesh Lodhiwal had also registered a case against five people at Baunli police station. Bauli police station registered a case under the MMDR Act. Three accused had already been arrested in the case.

The team formed under the leadership of SHO Radharaman Gupta took action today and arrested the accused Pappu Lal, son of Banshilal Gurjar, resident of Golpur. According to Bauli police station, action will continue for the arrest of the wanted accused.
