Sawai Madhopur : Kotwali police station of Sawai Madhopur has arrested an accused of spreading religious frenzy by making objectionable comments on social media. Police have arrested Firoz Khan (30) son of Nasir Khan Subhash Nagar Railway Colony Sawai Madhopur.
Kotwali police station officer Rajveer Singh said that on Tuesday evening, information was received about making any objectionable comment regarding Hindu religion on social media Instagram. Due to which there was a possibility of deteriorating communal harmony in the area. The accused who made objectionable remarks was a resident of Kotwali police station area. When searched for, he was not found at home. After which the police team searched the accused on the basis of phone location. During this time the location of the accused was found in Batoda police station area. On which a police team was formed and the team was sent to Batoda.
After reaching here, the police team caught the accused in Batoda police station area. On examining the mobile phone of the accused, objectionable comments were found. On which the accused was arrested, the police station officer said that on the instructions of SP Mamta Gupta, the investigation of the case has been handed over to CO City Uday Singh Meena. At present the police is busy interrogating the accused from the public.
