Sawai Madhopur : These days the villagers are troubled by the Chakda operated crusher machines located in Gram Panchayat Shyarauli of Wazirpur subdivision area of Gangapur City district. There is a possibility of accident due to crusher machines. In this regard, the villagers have submitted a memorandum to the Collector demanding a solution to the problem.
Villagers Prahlad, Kishan Bairwa, Ganpat Singh, Battilal Bairwa, Vijendra Singh, Komal Singh, Ramveer Singh, Suresh Singh, Rattilal, Madanlal, Maujiram, Chandrabhan, Devendra Singh, Ajay Singh and Bablu etc. told that currently four crusher machines are operating in village Chakda of Shyrauli Gram Panchayat. . Among these, Balaji Stone Crusher Company Chagra, Bhairav Stone, Nilanjan Store Crusher Company etc. are operating machines. The above four stone crusher machines are being operated within 100 meters of the village Chhakda. In such a situation, regular blasting is done in these four. Due to this, villagers are falling ill due to stone crusher dust in every house. The environment of the village has also become polluted and the AQI remains around 400.
Blasting by the said crusher machines at night creates an atmosphere of fear. Due to installation of saffron machine near the population, dust keeps flying due to vehicle movement throughout the day and night and soil is accumulating in the houses. Apart from this, criminal elements from outside enter the village, due to which there is every possibility of causing any untoward incident.
He alleged that the crusher is inspected by the mining authorities, but the inspection is only for show, no safety guidelines are given and the villagers are facing the consequences of this in the form of inconvenience.
While demanding to install the said crusher machines away from the populated areas, he said that due to the crusher machines being installed near the populated areas, farming in the village is also being affected and no trees and plants are being planted. He has asked the Collector to take action on the above demands and provide relief to the general public by immediately closing all four stone crushers.
