According to the Shivira calendar, the winter timings of schools become effective from October 1, but this time due to high temperature on October 1, the calendar was amended and the summer duration was extended till October 15. Now the temperature has started decreasing. In such a situation, school timings will be from 10 am to 4 pm from October 16.
According to the Shivra Panchag of the Education Department, winter time comes into effect from October 1. According to this, from October 1 to March 30, school timings are from 10 am to 4 pm. But for the last two years, it has been extremely hot even in the beginning of October. In such a situation, the Education Department is not changing the school timings every time from October 1st. This time it is the third consecutive year, when the school timings are changing from October 16. Director of Secondary Education Ashish Modi had issued orders regarding change in school timings on September 30.
