Rajsamand : 31st Scientific Advisory Committee meeting was organized in the auditorium of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Rajsamand where farmers including agricultural scientists participated.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka Vice Chancellor Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. In the meeting, Karnataka asked the farmers to increase their income by adopting new techniques of processing along with agriculture. He explained in detail about the utility and production of fruits and vegetables.
Dr. R. l. Soni, Director, Directorate of Extension Education, Udaipur imparted technical knowledge to the farmers and told them about becoming self-reliant through advanced horticulture and vegetable production. In the meeting, Director Atari Jodhpur Dr. J.P. Mishra, Dr. P.C. Regar, Senior Scientist, Vinod Jain, Joint Agricultural Extension Rajsamand, Shiv Prakash Kumhar, Assistant Director Atma Project Agriculture Department, Dr. Jagdish Jingar, Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Department, Ashish Jain, District Development Manager NABARD and L.D.M. Prem Shankar Jinagar, Ritu Aggarwal also gave information to the farmers. In the meeting, seed storage rooms were provided to 11 tribal women farmers.
