SDM gave this warning to the principal of this government school in Rajasthan, know the whole matter

Dausa : Villagers start demanding teachers in government schools of many villages of Rajasthan due to shortage of teachers, but there are some schools in urban areas where despite having very less number of students, a huge army of teachers is appointed. The department officials who inspect the schools regarding increase in enrollment and other issues have also not considered it appropriate to pay attention to these schools.

The whole matter came to light in Dausa district when on Thursday morning, Sub-Divisional Officer Narendra Kumar Meena went for a surprise inspection of Mahatma Gandhi Basic School of Lalsot. When the SDM saw a very low number of students in the school, he asked the principal present there about the enrollment and appointment of teachers. On this, he told the SDM that there are 40 students enrolled and 11 teachers are appointed.
On seeing such low enrollment in Mahatma Gandhi School, SDM reprimanded the principal and asked why there are so few enrollments. If any efforts have been made to increase enrollment and door to door survey has been done or any parent has been called, then please tell? On this, he could not give any satisfactory answer. SDM warned that he will come to the school again after 31st July and if there is no increase in enrollment, then action will be taken as per rules.
