Dholpur : Dholpur On Wednesday, District Legal Services Authority Secretary ADJ Rekha Yadav inspected the Sakhi One Stop Center operated by the Women Empowerment Department under the Nirbhaya Scheme. During the inspection, Secretary Yadav provided information to the victimized women through the Sakhi One Stop Center. Took stock of the facilities being provided and observed the registers maintained by the One Stop Centre. In view of the winter season, instructions were given to ensure protection from cold and arrangements for hot water etc. All the women and girls living in the One Stop Center were also interrogated and got information about the arrangements. Secretary Yadav said that the government has operated Sakhi One Stop Centers in every district for the legal aid and protection of the victimized women.
Aggrieved and needy women should take advantage of the facilities provided by Sakhi Centre. Under Sakhi One Stop Centre, women and girls suffering from all types of violence are provided temporary shelter, police desk, legal aid, medical and counseling facilities at one place. All the women coming to Sakhi One Stop Center are given legal information. Surendra Singh, Rahul Dandautia etc. of District Legal Services Authority were present on this occasion.
