Section 163 implemented in Baran district, Collector issued orders, know why?

Kota : In Baran district of Rajasthan, under the Indian Civil Security Code- 2023, District Collector and Magistrate Rohitashv Singh Tomar has issued orders to implement Section 163 to maintain communal harmony and law and order in the district. On Monday, the Superintendent of Police Baran wrote a letter and informed the District Collector that in the coming days, festivals like Krishna Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Baba Ramdev Jayanti, Tejadashmi, Jaljhulani Ekadashi, Baravafat and Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated by the Hindu and Muslim community in the district.

Order issued in view of religious festivals

During the above mentioned festivals, processions and processions will be taken out in the district. In which there is a possibility of gathering of large number of people. To maintain communal harmony and law and order in the district, prohibitory orders should be issued under Section 163 Indian Civil Security Code 2023.
The collector implemented the orders

The order will be applicable from 26 August to 24 October

Prohibitory orders will remain in force in the entire district from 26 August to 24 October 2024. During this period, no person within the district limits will roam in public places carrying arms, rifles, pistols, guns, bows and arrows, sharp weapons, Gandasa, Farsa, swords, knives etc. No one in the district will exchange unnecessary facts through social media. No organization or group will raise religious provocative slogans.
