Jhunjhunu : A new twist has emerged in the case of a minor girl who has been missing for nine days in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. The girl’s family was accusing someone of kidnapping her and staging a sit-in protest and accusing the police of negligence in the case. Meanwhile, the girl has made many things clear in this case by posting a video on Instagram. The girl is saying, ‘I am in danger. I request you not to follow me, no one has kidnapped me. I have gone on my own will.’ However, the police is also looking at this case from the angle that whether the girl posted this under any pressure.

She went out to eat the sweets and disappeared
Actually, a girl had gone to a fair in Indali village of Bagad police station area of Jhunjhunu district with her elder sister and brother. There the girl told her brother and sister that she was going to eat Patasi (Golgappa) and would return in some time but after this the girl disappeared from the fair. The family members searched for her. When she was not found for a long time, a police report was filed. Giving information about her disappearance from the fair in a police report, the girl’s father had registered a case against a suspicious youth of the village in the Bagad police station of the district on August 26 for luring and kidnapping his minor daughter.

Here, on Thursday many people including the family members gathered, raising questions on the working style of the police for not finding any clue of the missing girl. They demonstrated at the Bagad police station. Later they reached the Collectorate. On being informed of the case from the victim’s family, former minister Rajendrasingh Gudha also reached there to meet the family members. Along with the former minister, the family members and the villagers raised slogans against the police. The family members and the villagers, who were demonstrating in the presence of the police, under the leadership of former minister Gudha, reprimanded the police administration through slogans.
Even after 8 days there was no trace of the girl
The family members accused the police of not taking timely action. The family members say that the police have not been able to trace the accused even after eight days of the kidnapping. They are sitting idle. The victim’s side and the villagers who went to complain to SP Sharad Chaudhary, in the presence of former minister Rajendra Gudha, gave information about the incident in the SP chamber and told in detail that the girl was kidnapped from the fair. The case was registered. Even after a week of the incident, the police are empty handed. The accused have not been caught yet, nor has any trace of the girl been found.
Police took out CDR of mobile numbers
However, the police detained the suspects in this case and questioned them. Police officer Hemraj Meena said that the family members have given a memorandum to the SP. The police is continuously searching for the suspicious numbers by getting their CDR. Along with questioning the family members of the accused, raids are being conducted continuously to recover the girl. According to the police, the girl’s location is being traced. The case will be revealed soon.
The girl who was missing for 9 days posted a post on Instagram
Here, a new twist in this case has come to light on Friday. Social media reports are saying that the missing girl has revealed the case by posting on Instagram. The girl has said in the post that she has not been kidnapped. She had boarded the car on her own will. According to the news received, the girl has shared a video on her Instagram ID. Which Navbharat Times Digital does not confirm. In this 51-second video post, the girl is saying that no one has kidnapped her, she has come from home on her own will. In the video posted on social media, the girl is saying that no one has kidnapped me. I have come by opening the door of the car and sitting on it on my own will. My life is in danger. My sister is telling the media that a boy has forcibly made me sit by holding my hand. No one made me sit in the car by holding my hand. I sat on my own. The girl told the reason for running away in the video
In this post, the girl is saying that ‘I am fed up with my family. They brought me home from my maternal grandparents’ house after beating me. They have stopped my studies. Don’t follow me, I request all of you to stop following me. My family wants to get me married forcibly. That is why I ran away from home after getting fed up with their torture. There is talk of getting me married in return at the place where my maternal uncle got married.’
