Self defense training given to women constables in Barmer

Barmer : at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pachpadra, women trainers gave self-defense training to girls. SP Kundan Kanwaria said that as per the intention of the police headquarters, the police is committed to the safety of women and children.

Under the supervision of ASP Gopal Singh Bhati, a 10-day training was organized from 11 to 21 November for self-defense training for the girl students studying in PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pachpadra. In this, two women trainers from the police department, Parvati and Achli, trained about 200 girls from class 6th to 12th.

In the training, girls were taught self-defense skills. Also, detailed training was given on many subjects. In this, along with self-defense tips, information was also given about good touch-bad touch and law. Information related to laws like domestic violence, dowry system, child marriage, women helpline number, dignity helpline number, cyber and sexual harassment of women and children etc. was given. Female constables Parvati and Achli taught self-defense skills to the girls.
