Self defense training started in Bharatpur RD Girls College

Bharatpur News Desk: The second batch of self-protection training was started under the aegis of Women’s Studies Cell in Rameshwari Devi Girls College. This program has been started under the Rani Lakshmi Bai Center established in the college as per the instructions of the Commissionerate of College Education. Under Rani Laxmibai Kendra Scheme, self-protection training programs are being conducted to make the girl students capable of safety and self-defense and to provide them a safe environment.

Principal Prof. presiding. Throwing light on the objectives of the training, Sujata Chauhan said that this will provide a healthy, safe and fear-free environment to the girl students in the society. They will become mentally and physically strong. In-charge of Women’s Studies Cell, Prof. Nisha Goyal provided general guidelines regarding the action plan of self-defense training and other advanced courses. He said that this training will increase the self-confidence of the girl students, which will enable them to help and protect themselves and others.
