Seven hundred employees and officers of Electricity Corporation went on strike in Dungarpur

Dungarpur : Under the banner of Rajasthan Vidyut Sanyukt Sangharsh Samiti, on Friday, Electricity Corporation personnel and officers went on a one-day strike in protest against privatization, boycotting work. The employees staged a protest outside the Superintendent Engineer’s office and took out a rally and demonstrated outside the Collectorate. Later a memorandum was given to the District Collector in the name of the Chief Minister.

Junior engineers, technical employees and ministerial employees gathered outside the Superintending Engineer located on Hospital Road on Friday morning in support of ban on privatization in Electricity Corporation and restoration of OPS. Here he said that on behalf of the government, each and every work in the generation, transmission and distribution corporations in the field of electricity is being given to private hands. They protested vehemently by raising slogans. After this the personnel took out a rally. The rally reached the District Collectorate via New Hospital, Gandhi Ashram.

Here the workers protested fiercely, raising slogans against the government. After this, the delegation gave a memorandum to the District Collector in the name of the Chief Minister. During this, Naveen Patidar, Sanjay Hadat, Jayesh Kharadi, Gaurav Khaduri, Girish Sharma, Priyanka Meena, Swati Rot, Sonal, Madhu Meena, Lokpal Singh Sisodia, Rajat Gamot, Deepak, Nilesh Kalal, Khemraj Yadav, Prashant Bhavsar, Jitendra Bhatt, Harish Kalasua, Mukesh Parmar, Shersingh Meena, Lokesh, Tushar, Naresh, Bhimchandra Koted, Mukesh, Narendra Goyal, Bharat Katara, Rajendra Yadav, Lokendra Singh, Dhanraj Prajapat, Kailash Jadoo, Mangilal Panchal, Nandlal Pandya and Gunwant Bhavsar etc. were present.
