Firozabad, November 19 (IANS). A major road accident occurred due to morning fog on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Due to dense fog, four cars one after the other collided with a faulty DCM vehicle parked on the roadside. After which there was chaos on the spot. This incident took place near Naseerpur cut of Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Naseerpur police station area.
In this incident, a person traveling in a car was injured who has been referred to Saifai Medical College after first aid. In the incident, a car driver is said to be a resident of Azamgarh.
There were screams as the cars collided one after another. Local people reached the spot. With the help of local people, the police pulled out the people trapped in the car. No one was seriously injured in this incident and the injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Earlier, in a separate incident in Firozabad on November 13, a mini truck hit two people riding a motorcycle at Mira intersection in South police station area. In this, 45-year-old Brij Kishore died and his companion 38-year-old Ramnaresh was seriously injured.
On November 9, a horrific road accident took place on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Where a bus full of passengers collided with a truck. Five people died tragically in this accident while 17 people were seriously injured.
It is noteworthy that with the falling temperature, a layer of mist and fog has engulfed North India. In Delhi NCR also, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for dense fog further. Fog has worsened the situation by significantly reducing visibility. The combination of fog and toxic air has also disrupted flight operations, causing massive delays.
