Severe cold started wreaking havoc in Rajasthan, dense fog covered many districts including Bhilwara and Churu.

Jaipur : After snowfall in hilly areas, cold has started showing its effect in Rajasthan. Last day the temperature dropped by more than 5 degrees. In Ajmer the minimum temperature dropped by 5.1 degrees and reached 10.2. At the same time, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 31.9 degrees Celsius in Barmer and the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.7 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur (Sikar). The maximum temperature in hill station Mount Abu has reached 19.8 and the minimum temperature has reached 5 degrees. There is no possibility of any significant change in the minimum temperature in most parts of the state in the next 2-3 days.

The mercury will fall further in Jaipur

The Meteorological Department estimates that there is a possibility of light to moderate fog in the northern parts of the state in the morning. At present the weather remains dry in the state and there is no change expected till November 27. At the same time, the mercury in Jaipur city may go down by 1 degree. According to the forecast, the minimum temperature on 23, 24 and 25 November will be 13 degrees. Whereas on 26th and 27th November the mercury can go up to 12 degrees.

The temperature reached 8.6 degrees in Churu and 15 degrees in Jaisalmer.

The mercury was 10.2 in Ajmer, 12.7 in Jaipur, 9.7 in Bhilwara, 10 in Alwar, 12.7 in Jaipur, 10.4 in Pilani, 7 in Sikar, 12 in Kota, 10.6 in Chittorgarh, 11.6 in Dholpur, 12.5 in Dungarpur, 8.1 in Sirohi, Karauli. In It has reached 9.9, 14.8 in Barmer, 15.2 in Jaisalmer, 12.7 in Jodhpur, 16 in Phalodi, 15.2 in Bikaner, 8.6 in Churu, 12 in Ganganagar and 9.3 in Jalore.
