Jaipur News Desk: Although the day temperature is not falling in the state, the night temperature has started falling. Due to which a slight cold is felt at night. Minimum temperatures are beginning to be recorded in cities that are five degrees below average. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 11.8 degrees in Mount Abu. Apart from this, minimum temperature of 14.2 degrees was recorded in Sangriya and 14.6 degrees in Sirohi. The minimum temperature in Sirohi was five degrees below normal. In 19 of its cities the minimum temperature was recorded below 20 degrees. Here, in 17 cities the maximum temperature was recorded more than 35 degrees. The highest day temperature in Barmer was 38 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has attributed the warm weather to easterly winds due to lack of snowfall in the mountains, absence of western disturbances and active low pressure systems in the Bay of Bengal. Temperatures in the north-western plains will remain 2-5 degrees above normal for at least the next two weeks. After which it will gradually decline.
The minimum temperature of Jaipur was recorded at 20.8 degrees on Sunday. Apart from this, heat is still being felt during the day. The maximum temperature recorded during the day was 34.1 degrees. According to the weather centre, winter will hit the city after November 15. After this, there will be a further decline in the night temperature.
