Sikar : Due to Abujh Save, the pressure of vehicles on Tuesday was so high that the main roads of the city started getting jammed late in the evening. The jam situation continued till late night. Here, people had to remain stuck in jam for a long time on many routes including Dasa Ki Dhani Circle, Bikaner Bypass Circle, Kalyan Circle, Agricultural Produce Market Jaipur Road, Jyotiba Phule Circle. Drivers leaving the city had to change their routes. Due to the jam, regular transport service buses also ran late.
Many marriages took place across Sikar district on Tuesday on Devuthani Ekadashi. Tulsi-Shaligram marriage rituals were performed in every house. The main program took place at Gopinath Temple located in Subhash Chowk of the city. Here special worship of Lord Shaligram was done in the presence of Mahant Surendra Sharma and a procession was taken out in the presence of saints. Shaligram boarded the carriage. After this, riding on camels and horses, the procession reached Sitaram Saini’s residence in Basant Vihar through the main roads of the city.
Where the pundits performed the marriage of Tulsi-Shaligram with the ceremony of Toran. Devotees welcomed the procession by showering flowers at various places in the city. A welcome program was organized when the procession reached Basant Vihar. Along with this, pundits worshiped Tulsi-Shaligram in temples throughout the day. Prasad programs were organized at various places. Kanyadaan rituals were also performed. Here, Tulsi Shaligram marriage ceremony took place in Shri Kalyan Dham in the presence of Mahant Vishnu Prasad Sharma. Special religious programs were organized on Kartik Ekadashi in all the temples of the city including Devipura Balaji Dham, Jankinath Temple, Raghunath Temple.
