Jhalawar : In Asanawar, Jhalawar, a Kalyugi father, who swore wrongly at his own daughter, has been taken into custody by the police after the intervention of the Child Welfare Committee. A 13-year-old minor alleges that her father has been doing wrong things to her for a long time. The police have taken the accused into custody and are interrogating him and investigation is being conducted in the entire matter.
Police registered a case after NGO’s intervention
Child Welfare Committee Chairman Shivraj Singh said that a minor girl from Asnavar police station area had contacted the committee and informed about the ill-treatment her father was having with her. After this, the Child Helpline team contacted the girl and learned about her circumstances. The team took the minor into confidence by counseling him.
The mother of the minor victim has passed away
After which a case of rape was filed by the girl against her father. Shivraj Singh told that the girl has informed the Child Welfare Committee, Jhalawar that since the death of her mother, she has been continuously raped by her father.
Police is investigating the entire matter
Asnawar police station in-charge Mohanlal said that after the complaint of the minor girl, a case has been registered against her father and investigation has been started. Soon the girl will be presented before the Child Welfare Committee and her medical examination will be done. The accused father has also been detained by the police.
