Whereas in Gupt Navratri, Goddess Kali and ten Mahavidyas are worshipped secretly.
Sharadiya Navratri will start from 3rd October
This time the Sharadiya Navratri falling in September will start from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month on 3 October. During this time, the worship of Maa Durga will be done in the houses with full rituals. For this, according to the complete customs and auspicious time, the Kalash will be installed in the houses (shardiya navratri kalash sthapana) and the mother will be worshipped for nine days. Jin Dashami (VijayDashmi 2024) is celebrated on the tenth day of Sharadiya Navratri. Which is also called Dussehra or Vijayadashami. In this, Lord Rama killed Ravana after the victory of truth over untruth. And after this Navratri will end.

Mother will come in a palanquin and will go on foot
Every year during Navratri, the ride of the mother is decided according to the day. If Navratri is starting from Sunday and Monday, then the ride of the mother is considered to be an elephant. If Navratri is starting from Tuesday and Saturday, then the ride of the mother is a horse. On the other hand, if Navratri is starting from Thursday and Friday, then the ride of the mother is a doli or palanquin. In the year 2024, if Navratri is starting from Thursday, then the ride of the mother will be a doli. On the other hand, the end of Navratri on Saturday means that the mother will go on foot. The arrival of Maa Durga on a palanquin is not considered auspicious. Apart from this, the departure of the mother on foot is also not considered auspicious. Therefore, devotees should worship the mother who came on a doli during Navratri with full rituals. With this you can avoid many difficult situations.
