Bharatpur : Cows are dying in the Shyam Dhak Gaushala located in Deeg district due to lack of fodder, water, medical care and care. The bodies of dead cows are in such a bad condition that dogs are tearing them apart. Due to the recent monsoon rains, the cowshed land has become swampy due to the negligence of the cowshed operator and the feet of the cattle are getting stuck in the mud, causing the death of weak cattle. Instead of burying the bodies of dead cows, they are left in the cowshed.

The bodies of dead cows lie in the form of skeletons. For the last several days, the villagers were getting a foul smell from the cowshed. When they went to the spot, many cows were lying dead in the cowshed and dogs were eating them. Some cows were stuck in the swamp. With the help of an ambulance, the villagers took the injured cows stuck in the swamp to the hospital for treatment. However, no concrete action was taken after informing the district administration.

Ramveer Singh, a resident of Barauli Chauth village, said that there is a Shyam Dhak Gaushala in the village. A foul smell was coming from inside it for many days. When the villagers went inside the Gaushala and saw, many cows were lying dead in the Gaushala and dogs were tearing them apart. More than a dozen cows were trapped in it due to the land becoming marshy due to monsoon rains. It was clearly visible that the cows were dying due to lack of water, medical care and care.
1500 cows in cowshed, negligence in care
Villagers said that this cowshed is not registered and is being run on forest department land. The responsibility of running this cowshed has been given to Vrindavan resident Ram Das Maharaj. There are about 1500 cows in this cowshed. The cowshed operator has employed two workers to take care of them. Cowshed operator Ram Das Maharaj comes only occasionally. Fodder for cows in this cowshed is also provided by social workers.
