Jodhpur : A month has passed since the murder of female beautician Anita Choudhary in Gangana and her body being cut into six pieces and buried. The police have arrested the main accused and his wife and sent them to judicial custody, but after registering the FIR, the family of the deceased has not even recorded the preliminary statement before the investigating officer. Nor has the shop or house of the deceased been searched. This is probably the first case of the victim’s primary statement not being recorded even after a month. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Sikau) Sunil Panwar, who is investigating, says that the family has not yet recorded the statement.
The intention was to rob
During the investigation, the police had seized the mobile phone of Abeda Parveen, wife of main accused Ghulamuddin. A recording of her conversation with her husband was found in it. Ghulamuddin had sent his wife and three daughters to his sister-in-law’s house, saying that he would call someone to the house for the robbery. The next day he talked to his wife. In which he talked about work i.e. robbery and getting good goods from it. There was also mention of killing him. From this, the police believe that Ghulamuddin had called Anita home only for the purpose of robbery.

Anita Chaudhary, resident of Sardarpura First C Road, had gone to Gangana in an auto on 27 October. Ghulamuddin had talked to him posing as his uncle and had called him to his house on the pretext of meeting him. After that he murdered Anita.
