Mumbai, November 28 (IANS). Ali Fazal has completed the shooting of director Mani Ratnam’s Tamil language pan India film ‘Thug Life’. The actor described the journey as unprecedented and admitted that the two months he spent under Mani Ratnam’s direction had changed his life as an actor.
Ali Fazal is debuting in South Indian cinema with this film. Apart from Ali, Thug Life also stars Trisha, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Aishwarya Lakshmi in lead roles.
Ali said, “It is an honor for me to work under the visionary direction of Mani Ratnam sir. The opportunity to share the screen with Kamal Haasan sir and the extraordinary cast is very special for me, which I will always cherish.”
He told that the last two months have been very special for him. During this time I have learned a lot. I’ve worked on learning Tamil, immersing myself in a new cinematic culture, and pushing my creative boundaries.
Praising the filmmaker’s ability, Ali said, “Mani sir creates a world that is extremely entertaining and rich. I can say with full confidence that this film will bring a cinematic magic to audiences across India and beyond.” I can’t wait to share this magic with the audience.
