The matter is related to CET exam
Actually, Common Eligibility Test (CET) Senior Secondary Level started in Rajasthan from Tuesday. This examination is being conducted in the entire state. Lakhs of candidates are appearing in the three-day examination. If we talk about Tuesday, on the first day of CET exam, 4 lakh 88 thousand 847 candidates have appeared for the exam.

According to the information received from the officials, there was 80% attendance in the morning shift of CET exam. 2 lakh 49 thousand 742 candidates took the exam in the morning shift. 77.02 percent candidates were present in the afternoon. 2 lakh 39 thousand 105 candidates took the exam. Board Chairman Major General Alok Raj gave this information.
Teachers remained missing from CET exam duty
For the successful conduct of CET examination, teachers have been deployed as invigilators in many districts. But many teachers appeared in this examination. After which show cause notice has been issued to more than 200 teachers in Jaipur.
Teacher did not come even after repeated calls
It was told in the notice that the teachers were put on duty for distraction work in the common eligibility test. All of them were instructed to be present at the respective centers on October 21 at 10 am. But despite repeated calls by the Center Superintendent, he neither reached the center nor gave any information.
The District Magistrate has considered it serious. All these teachers have been asked to respond immediately. Otherwise, action will be taken against them on charges of negligence and irregularities in the examination. It is also written in the notice that if the heads of the concerned institution do not relieve them, then disciplinary action will be taken against them also.
Notice issued to 255 teachers in Jaipur
In fact, on Tuesday, great negligence came to light in Jaipur regarding CET exam. Despite being assigned duty as invigilator, a large number of teachers did not report for duty. After which the Education Department issued show cause notice to 255 teachers in Jaipur.
Action may be taken if proper response is not received
All these teachers will have to give their reply within the stipulated time limit. If there is no proper response, action can also be taken against them. Apart from Jaipur, teachers in other districts of the state also who remain missing from invigilator’s duty can be punished.
