Jaipur : The Cabinet Committee reviewed the SI recruitment exam paper leak case and submitted the report to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma before his foreign tour. It is said that in the report, emphasis has been laid on canceling the recruitment examination and conducting re-examination of the candidates involved in it, but the final decision on this will be taken by the CM.
The 6-member committee headed by Law Minister Jogaram Patel had completed the review work on Thursday, but the ministers included in the committee later finalized the report after informal discussion. The committee has prepared the report on the basis of feedback received from SOG and Home Department officials.
The committee has already accepted huge irregularities in the SI recruitment examination. For the solution, the committee considered 4 options, which included re-conducting the examination and giving a chance only to the candidates who had appeared in the examination earlier, canceling the recruitment completely, dismissing the selected candidates who were caught by SOG or who were doubtful, and the remaining selected candidates. Suggestions like retention of candidates in service were included.
Selection was done on 859 posts
Through this recruitment, selection was made on 859 posts, out of which about 50 selected sub-inspectors have been arrested. Including these, a total of 75 people have been arrested regarding sub-inspector recruitment.
