Siddaramaiah has sunk Karnataka in just 18 months: Shobha Karandlaje

Mumbai, November 12 (IANS). Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Labor and Employment Shobha Karandlaje on Tuesday targeted Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah during his visit to Mumbai. He said that CM Siddaramaiah has sunk Karnataka in just 18 months.

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, in a special conversation with IANS, said, “Karnataka CM has no right to say anything here, he has sunk Karnataka in just 18 months. He took a loan of Rs 82 thousand crore and also took the money of SC-ST. Snatched away a guarantee of Rs 14 thousand crores, but they did not do a single work for them. Development works are at a standstill in Karnataka.

He said, “The development work in Karnataka is zero and the capital investment is also at zero. Despite all this, the Karnataka government is only increasing the prices. The Siddaramaiah government has done the work of sinking Karnataka. It will not allow any MLA to do development work. They are not even giving money to get it done. The question should be asked to them as to why the debt in Karnataka has increased?

Shobha Karandlaje said, “Road Transport Corporation is going to be closed in Karnataka in a few days, because they promised to give free guarantee for women, but now they have closed the bus itself. They also have money to put diesel in the bus. No. Not only this, they don’t even have money to pay salaries to drivers and conductors.”

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar had recently said that his government will reconsider the ‘Shakti Scheme’.
