Sikar accused of stealing copper and transformer oil arrested

Sikar : Dadiya police station has arrested an accused in the case of theft of copper wire and plate from the transformer. The accused is being questioned by the police.

Police Officer Ashok Kumar said that on December 2, JEN Kiran Chaudhary lodged a report that copper wires and plates were stolen from five transformers in the area under the headquarters office of Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited Piprali. Due to which the corporation suffered a loss of Rs 3.76 lakh. Police registered a case on the report. Police received information through an informer that the accused who committed the crime had come towards Tarpura village. Police raided the spot.

After which today the accused in the case, Rakesh alias Ramlal (27), resident of Poultry Farm near Dev Thala, Govindgarh, was arrested. Copper wires and plates stolen from the transformer and the bike used during the incident have also been recovered from it. The accused is being questioned by the police. Many more incidents are likely to be revealed during the investigation.
