Sikar : Vashishtha Judge Magistrate (NI Act) Sikar has acquitted an accused in a check bounce case. The woman had filed a check bounce case through the court, on which the Special Judicial Magistrate has given the verdict.
Accused’s lawyer Suresh Kumawat told – Complainant woman Sita Devi resident Ramu Ka Bass (Sikar) had given a complaint to Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sikar on July 10, 2017, that she had arrested accused Ramesh Kumar (40) resident of Ajabpura, Ranoli on 1 July 2017. 40 lakh rupees were lent. In return, the accused had given a blank check to the woman. The woman had deposited a check in the bank when the money was not returned. Then there was no money in the accused’s account and the check had bounced. After which the woman had filed a check bounce case through the court.
During this time, when the woman gave her statement in the court, she told that she had lent Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand to the accused. Then the accused’s lawyer asked the woman in the court what her monthly income was, to which the woman told her income was Rs 5,000. Out of which two-three thousand are spent every month.
Also, the woman had filed three check bounce cases against the accused in a single day. Considering the income of the woman, the court acquitted the accused. It was also admitted that the woman had misused the accused’s cheque. The decision has not yet been taken in two other cases pending against the accused.
