Sikar : The team of Rural Women’s College has been the winner in the Inter College Basketball Competition- 2024 going on in the Rural Women’s College, Sikar. The team of Women’s College won by defeating the team of Raghunath Girls College, Laxmangarh by a margin of 22 scores.
Principal of Women’s College, Dr. Subhag Jakhar told – The one-day event of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shekhawati University’s Inter College Basketball (Women’s) Competition 2024, organized at Rural Women’s College, Shivsinghpura (Sikar), was held on Tuesday.
Six inter college teams participated in the competition. The final match was held between Raghunath Girls College and Rural Women’s College, in which the team of Rural Women’s College became the winner by defeating the team of Laxmangarh by the score of 53-31.
If the team emerged victorious, the college administration honored the winning team with a trophy and prize. During this, the speakers while addressing said – Be it sports or any competition, daughters have been ahead in every matter. The daughters of Shekhawati are continuously bringing glory to the district in sports also. During this, the institute’s President Jhabarmal, Vice President Balveer Saran, Secretary Dr. RK Singh, School Principal Dr. Sushila Kumari and many teachers and students were present.
