Sikar News Desk: A case of chain snatching from the neck of a woman who was returning home from school after taking her child to school has come to light. Near the house, two bike-riding youths pounced on the bike, broke the gold chain from the woman’s neck and ran away. The incident took place in Udyog Nagar police station area of Sikar.
In the report given to the police, Tarun Sharma (55), resident of Bhavishya The Children Academy School, Jaldhari Nagar, Sikar, said – his wife Priyanka Sharma had gone to Bhavishya The Children Academy School, Jaldhari Nagar to pick up the child. The woman was returning home with the child. During this time, the bike riding youth coming from the front pounced on the woman’s neck, broke the chain and ran away with the bike.
When the woman raised an alarm, people nearby gathered. By then the miscreants had fled. People chased the miscreants but could not find them anywhere. At present the police have registered the case and started investigation. Head constable Manmohan is investigating the case.
