Sikar : Ramdev Singh Meel of Kanwarpura won the gold medal in shot put in the National Transplant Games 2024 organized by Narmada Kidney Foundation, Mumbai. Apart from this, he was successful in winning the silver medal in the relay race. He is a technician in Electricity Corporation. He won 2 gold medals in 2022 and 2 silver medals in 2023.
He told that even after organ transplant a person can live a normal life. Even after donating a kidney to his mother in 2012, he remained associated with sports. Preparing for the World Transplant Games to be held in Germany in 2025. Rajasthan players had an excellent performance in the National Transplant Games. Players won 9 medals. These include 4 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.
