Sikar : Preparations for the REET exam 2024 to be conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will soon gain momentum. After Education Minister Madan Dilawar announced that the application process will start from December 1, the board administration has intensified the preparations. In the first phase, a coordination committee of board officers is to be formed. After the formation of the committee, a release or advertisement will be issued which will have to be approved by the government. After approval from the government, the application process will start after publication of the advertisement in the second or third week of November, which will last for one month. If the application process starts from December 1, it will continue till January 1, 2025.
Examination center will be available in home district or nearby
Applicants will be allotted an examination center in their home district or nearby, so that they will not have to run to other districts to take the examination. This will not affect the law and order situation in the cities. After the government makes REET lifelong recognition in the year 2022, only those candidates who have passed the previous examination will have to apply.
There will be churning at examination centers
After the number of applications comes, examination conducting committees will be formed at the district level on the instructions of the Collector. Its nodal officer will be the ADA of the districts. He will decide the examination centers in coordination with the education officers of the concerned district or division. An average of 200 and a maximum of 500 candidates will appear at an examination center. There will be an estimated 4 to 5 thousand examination centres.
