A high-level delegation of the Rajasthan government, led by Industries Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, invited Singapore to become the ‘Partner Country’ of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024 during its meeting with Minister of State for External Affairs Sim Ann on Wednesday. During this meeting, the delegation was invited to participate in the Global Investment Summit to be held in Jaipur from 9 to 11 December. In fact, on the third day of the Singapore visit, the Rajasthan government delegation met key officials of Singapore’s public and private sector companies. Apart from this, the delegation also visited the premises of the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore and Surbana Jurong, a leading consultancy company there.

Rajyavardhan Rathod invited to Singapore
After these meetings, Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said, “We have invited Singapore to become the ‘Partner Country’ of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024. We held meetings on Wednesday with several leading Singapore companies who are interested in investing in various sectors in the state such as industrial parks, urban development, data centres, aviation MRO. We are ready to extend our full support to him on behalf of the Rajasthan government. During the visit, the delegation also visited the campus of Singapore-based engineering and urban development consultancy Surbana Jurong, where they were welcomed by the company’s Group CEO Sean Chiao and other senior officials. During this meeting, Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rathod gave information about the infrastructural development taking place in Rajasthan and invited them to become partners in the development of Rajasthan.
To make the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit-2024, to be organized under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, a success, the state government is continuously holding meetings with domestic and foreign investors, institutions and top officials of the corporate world. MoU worth Rs 12.55 lakh crore received
Under this, such investor road shows have been organized in Delhi, Mumbai, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha in the last one month, to invite and encourage investors to join Rajasthan, invest in the state. As a result of this extensive outreach, the Government of Rajasthan has received investment proposals (MoUs) worth more than Rs 12.55 lakh crore so far, reflecting the tremendous confidence of the investor and business community in the efforts of the State Government.
The summit will take place in December
It is noteworthy that ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 will be organized in the capital Jaipur on 9, 10 and 11 December this year. It is being organized under the aegis of the Government of Rajasthan in collaboration with the Department of Industries and Commerce, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RICO), with BIP as the nodal department.
