Sirohi is treating quacks as doctors, no action is taken

Sirohi : General meeting of Panchayat Samiti Abu Road was held on Tuesday. In the meeting, Sarpanch, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad members prominently raised issues related to health, roads, electricity, drinking water and education. He asked and raised questions to the officials about the action taken to solve the problems related to these issues. The meeting was presided over by Pradhan Leelaram Garasia. Revdar MLA Motiram Koli also attended the meeting.

Zilla Parishad member Kanhaiyalal Khare said that quacks in the block are providing treatment by posing as doctors. People’s kidneys are getting damaged due to their medicines. Even after this the department is not taking action. On this, BCMO Dr. Gautam Morarka said that action has been taken several times. A committee has been formed for this. It is mandatory for the Drugs Inspector to be present during the action. Dr. Gautam said that he took action at his level. I have received a court notice in this matter. We will soon take strict action against such quacks. Khare talked about the premature departure of doctors from Abu Road Hospital.

Send proposals for 9 PHCs

Panchayat Samiti members Ramlal Ranora and Devaram Garasia raised the issue of poor health services in Bhakhar, dominated by forest dwellers. BCMO said that proposals for 9 new primary health centers have been sent in Bhakhar and other areas. Health check-up camps will soon be organized once a week in the panchayats of Bhakhar. Member Devaram Garasia demanded to build the Sub District Hospital near Siyawa or Surapagala.

Will close all the schools of Bhakhar

Sarpanches expressed anger over children’s education being disrupted due to shortage of teachers in schools. Panchayat Samiti member Ramlal Ranora said that the situation in the schools of Bhakhar is worse. We have demanded several times to appoint teachers. If teachers are not appointed to the vacant posts soon, we will close all the schools in the area. Chief Block Education Officer Mridula Vyas explained in detail about the action taken in this matter. Assured to inform the teachers about their problems at the highest level soon.

Build a retaining wall on the bridge

Zilla Parishad member Khare has demanded to build a security wall with pillars on Morthala bridge. Said that due to lack of safety wall, there is always danger and someone may fall into the river. PWD AEN said that the work is being done as per the approval. Giving the technical reason behind not building the wall, he said that it can fall only if someone is careless, otherwise no one can fall. Members expressed displeasure over this. Khare alleged that the work in Jal Jeevan Mission was incomplete.

bicycles were not distributed

Member Devaram Garasia accused the Tribal Areas Department of not distributing bicycles to the hostel girls and not providing them with nutritious food as per the prescribed norms. Said that the bicycles are rusting.
