Sirohi News Desk: While investigating the case of dead body found in the city’s Dudhiya pond, the police have uncovered a blind murder and arrested two accused in four days. According to the police, the friend of the deceased turned out to be the murderer. The accused along with his associates, after robbing the money, killed his friend and threw the body in the Dudhiya pond of Sirohi. The police are engaged in intensive interrogation of the arrested accused. District Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar Beniwal said that on November 30, an unidentified body was found floating in the Dudhia pond of the city. The dead body was identified as that of Ranjit Kumar, son of Ganeshchandra Maru Kuhar, aged 45 years, resident of Shahaji, Badi Sirohi. On which the deceased’s wife Neelam Kumawat filed a case of murder in the police station Kotwali. Regarding this serious matter, a police team was formed under the leadership of Kotwali police station in-charge Kailashdan. The team revealed the blind murder by checking CCTV footage in the city, highway and surrounding areas and with the help of informers and technical assistance.
Plan to rob by giving betel nut
SP Beniwal said that after finding an unidentified body in the pond, the police team checked the CCTV cameras installed on the highway, hotels, petrol pumps and toll points from Sirohi to Shivganj, gathered information with the help of informers and technical assistance and identified the suspects. On this, it was revealed that the deceased Ranjit Kumar, son of Ganeshchandra Maru, resident of Shahaji, Bari, Sirohi, during his stay in Shivganj, befriended Vijay Kumar alias Nogia, who was in his contact. Accused Vijay Kumar alias Nogia, being a good friend of the deceased Ranjit and having full knowledge of the excess amount of money with him and in his account, planned to rob him by giving betel nuts to his friends. The police raided the possible hiding places of the accused like Shivganj, Sumerpur, Mordu, Khiwandi, Takhatgarh etc. and arrested the accused Vijay Kumar alias Nogia and Pinky.

Police said that the accused Vijay Kumar along with his female friend Pinky Govind Jadhav, Rahul Valmiki and Govind Bhil first looted Ranjeet in Shivganj and then brought him to Dudhiya pond of Sirohi from Shivganj and beat him up with a stone on his head. He was strangled to death and the body was thrown into the Dudhiya pond. The accused fled from the spot after committing the murder. Police have arrested the main accused Vijay Kumar alias Nogia and his female friend Pinky Govind Jadhav in this murder case. Both of them, along with their associates Rahul Valmiki and Govind Bhil, have confessed to committing the murder.

Police said that the main accused in the murder case is Vijay Kumar alias Nogia, son of Ghisulal Jatiya, resident of Jatiya Vas (near Ramdevji Temple), Sirohi Police Station Kotwali Sirohi and his female friend Pinky Govind Jadhav, wife of Govind Jadhav, resident of Deepak Nagar, Jamroli Road, Surat Gujarat Hall Sweet. Dream Spa Shivganj has been arrested.

In revealing this case, police station in-charge Kailashdan (special role), Narpat Singh, sub-inspector of police station Kotwali Sirohi, constable Dilip Singh (special role), Narendrapal Singh (special role), Ganpatlal, Ganpatdan, Kubharam, Harish Kumar, Mahavir Singh, Padmaram, Ramesh Kumar, Bhavan Singh Head Constable Cyber Cell, Constable Ramesh Kumar and Suresh Kumar were included.
