Sisodia’s fear of defeat behind running away from Patparganj seat: Impreet Singh Bakshi

New Delhi, December 9 (IANS). In the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party has given ticket to veteran leader Manish Sisodia from Jangpura. He is currently MLA from Patparganj seat. A round of reactions continues on Sisodia’s seat change. In this series, IANS spoke to BJP leader Impreet Singh Bakshi on Monday.

Impreet Singh Bakshi told IANS that the people of Jangpura will not give them any relief. Both Sisodia’s government and party have proved to be a complete failure in the name of development of Delhi. The man who opened liquor vends outside Gurudwaras, temples, mosques and churches, who opened ‘pink carts’ to push every mother and sister for liquor, will not be forgiven by the people of any area. Sisodia and his party sold liquor in the name of education, due to which they got the tag of ‘liquor mafia’. Now the people of Delhi have started hating Sisodia and this time he will face defeat.

He said that Sisodia has decided to flee from Patparganj. The people of Jangpura will teach them a lesson. The reason Sisodia fled from Patparganj was the fear of defeat, because the people there were unhappy with his government. There is a lot of anti-incumbency against Sisodia in Jangpura, because the previous MLA could neither build sewers, provide clean water nor repair the roads. Due to this, the local people were angry with Sisodia and it was certain that he would run away from there. Sisodia betrayed Delhi in the name of education model and actually benefited his politics from liquor business.

He said that no basic facilities were provided in Delhi during Sisodia’s tenure. He said that the governments of Kejriwal and Sisodia only filled the people of Delhi with promises, but did not work on any issue. Sisodia and Kejriwal should give up the dream of sitting in Sheesh Mahal, because the people of Delhi will no longer accept their false promises.
