He has come here to participate in the DBT program of incremental amount to the beneficiaries of Social Security Pension Scheme. During this, he reached Sursagar to take stock of the situation after the communal tension that took place in Sursagar recently, where he also talked to the woman Lajwanti Gehlot injured in the riots and her family members.
Strict legal action will be taken soon
The people of the area also informed the minister about the communal tension that has been going on in this area for a long time. Talking to the media after meeting the people, District In-charge Minister Madan Dilawar said that no miscreant will be spared in the Bhajanlal government. Strict legal action will be taken against these people soon. He said that the victim woman lost her eyesight in this riot, this is a very sad aspect. At present there is peace in the area and the markets have started opening again. However, the policemen are still on alert in the area.
So far 51 people have been arrested
Violence took place here last Friday, in which till now the police has arrested about 51 people. While a case has been registered against about 200 people. Two separate FIRs have been registered in this case. In the first FIR, a shop owner has filed a case for burning his shop. At the same time, the other party has given a report to the police about burning of a tractor. At present, the police is working to identify the miscreants in this entire case with the help of CCTV cameras.
Additional police force is still present
The situation in the area is now under control. In view of the tense situation, additional police force is still deployed in the area, which is continuously patrolling the area.
