Karauli : Karauli’s Mamchari police station has arrested a smuggler while taking action against smack. 5.50 grams of smack has been seized from the possession of the accused. Police is busy interrogating the accused regarding the purchase and sale of smack. Mamchari police station officer Kamlesh Meena said that a campaign against illegal drugs is being conducted under the direction of SP Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay and ASP Gumnaram. Under the campaign, Mamchari police station has arrested the accused with smack. 5.50 grams of smack has been seized from the possession of the accused.
The police station officer said that as part of the campaign, Mamchari police station had blocked the Karauli-Kaila Devi road in front of the police station. During the blockade, a young man was seen coming on foot. Seeing the blockade the young man started trying to run away. During this, the police personnel caught the accused and asked his name and address. The accused was said to be Shiv Singh Meena (30), son of Ramdayal Meena, resident of Karsai police station. Police seized 5.50 grams of smack from the possession of the accused and arrested him. The police is busy interrogating the accused regarding the purchase and sale of smack.
