Jaipur : Mansarovar police station of Jaipur has carried out a major action against illegal weapons. An arms smuggler has been arrested. Police have recovered 7 automatic pistols, magazines and live cartridges from accused arms smuggler Hemraj, resident of Alwar. Mansarovar police station caught the accused even before the weapons were supplied. During this time, another associate of the accused fled from the spot. The police team is searching for it.
Preliminary inquiry has revealed that accused smuggler Hemraj had brought weapons from Madhya Pradesh (MP). He had to deliver it in Jaipur. Before making the delivery, the police team got information about illegal weapons. On this, the police team arrested the accused without wasting any time. A constable of Mansarovar police station had received information from the informer that illegal weapons were going to be delivered in Mansarovar area. On this, Constable Damodar informed his senior officers. After this, teams were formed under the supervision of CI Mansarovar. This action was taken near Mahima Elanza located in Mansarovar police station area. Police will reveal this entire matter today.
