Under which the police teams took three actions and arrested 4 accused and recovered 9.27 kg of ganja and 715 grams of opium. Jaisalmer SP Sudhir Chaudhary said that 4 smugglers have been caught with illegal drugs and they have been strictly interrogated. That is going. Ganja and opium caught
Under the leadership of city Kotwali sub-inspector Altaf Hussain, the team of constables Kaushalaram, Mahendrasingh, Sunil and Saruparam along with head constable Bhimrao Singh from DST, constables Subhashchandra, Kaluram, Premsingh, Padamsingh, Kailash, Sukhram, Hazarsingh and Ramesh took action on the information of the informer. Police arrested accused Govindram Vishnoi, resident of Rohila Sedwa Barmer Hall, near Panchmukhi Temple in Gandhi Colony and seized 715 grams of opium milk from his possession.
Action of DST, Kotwali and Sadar police station
Two police teams, taking separate actions, succeeded in seizing 9.27 kg of ganja. Sadar Police Station Sub Inspector Narayan Singh, Constable Jagdish Kumar, Shivram, Devendra Kumar, Shankarlal and DST Head Constable Bhimrao Singh, Constable Subhash Chandra, Kaluram, Prem Singh, Padam Singh, Kailash, Sukhrab, Hazar Singh and Ramesh Kumar took action during the blockade and arrested the accused Firdos resident. When the Swift of Chandhan, resident of Jawandh Nai and Tarachand Meghwal was searched, 2 kg 18 grams of ganja was seized from the vehicle and the accused were arrested.
Along with this, on the information of the informer, under the leadership of Sub Inspector Altaf Hussain from Kotwali police station, Constables Kaushalaram, Mahendrasingh Sunil and Saruparam along with DST, Head Constable Bhimrao Singh, Head Constable Jetharam, Constable Subhashchandra, Kaluram, Premsingh, Padamsingh, Kailash, Sukhrab, Hazarsingh. And Ramesh Kumar took action and arrested the accused Premdas Vaishnav, resident of Bagte, by seizing 7 kg 250 grams of ganja from the possession of Dhani of Totaram, Bhavbhar Police Station, Ramsar Barmer Hall.
Police busy checking smuggling route
Jaisalmer SP Sudhir Chaudhary said- There are two major actions of the police to catch ganja. The ganja seized in both these operations has been recovered from Jaisalmer city. In such a situation, now the police is busy gathering information about the route of ganja reaching Jaisalmer. Efforts are being made by the police to contact the accused regarding the illegal drugs reaching Jaisalmer. By which route did the ganja come to Jaisalmer and from bringing it here to selling it further, efforts are being made to arrest the accused. While appealing, SP Choudhary said – I appeal to the common people not to stop the sale of drugs anywhere in Jaisalmer district. If you have any information regarding smuggling or horse-trading, please inform the police immediately. Your information will be kept completely confidential. Along with this, the police will continue to take action against drug smugglers. In this regard, the DST team has been alerted by giving special guidelines.
