Dausa : Preparations for assembly by-election are going on in Dausa. Voting is to be held here on 13 November. BJP has also announced its candidate for the elections. The administration also seems to be fully prepared for the elections. But meanwhile, on Tuesday, a news came out from Dausa which gave sleepless nights to the administrative staff. Actually, the matter of smuggling of liquor came to light in an administration vehicle engaged in election campaign in Dausa. The vehicle had FST (Flying Squad Team) sticker on it.
FST is formed during elections
It is known that FST is formed to keep an eye on illegal activities during elections. As soon as the information about liquor smuggling was received from this team’s vehicle, the police immediately became active. Then the area was blocked and the suspicious vehicle was caught.
SP gave information about the action
In the matter, Dausa SP Ranjita Sharma said that on October 22, 2024, under the leadership of Bhup Singh Head Constable, a Bolero no. was passed near Bhankri Road Babdi Balaji. RJ02 UA 7255 was seized. There was a FST sticker on the vehicle. Beer and country liquor were seized from the vehicle.

Alwar resident driver arrested
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Bijendra Meena, son of Gulyaram, caste Meena, age 40 years, resident of Sakat police station, Tehla district, Alwar. Cartons of beer and country liquor were kept in the car. When license and permit was asked for possession of illegal liquor, the driver could not give anything.
Had put FST sticker to avoid police
After which the police arrested the accused Bijendra Meena under Section 19/54 Excise Act. 13 cartoons of country liquor and 12 cartoons of beer were seized from the vehicle. Police said that the liquor smugglers had put FST (Flying Squad Team) stickers on the car to escape from the police.
