Jaipur : The special wing of the police SOG is continuously taking action against those who commit fraud in competitive examinations. The accused who leaked papers, made dummy candidates sit and helped in cheating in various recruitment examinations are being arrested. So far, more than 60 government employees, including 42 trainee station in-charges, have been arrested. On Friday, September 6, the SOG has arrested a senior teacher. This senior teacher arrested by the SOG is Surat Meena, who is a resident of Baatoda village in Sawai Madhopur district.
There are two papers in the senior teacher recruitment exam
There are two papers in the written exam for senior teacher recruitment. One paper is of general knowledge and educational psychology, while the second paper is of subject. All the candidates have to give the paper of general knowledge and educational psychology, while the subject paper has to be given according to the subject selected by the candidate. That is, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, General Science etc. The candidate has to give the paper of the subject for which he has applied.
Dummy candidates were made to sit for both the exams
The arrested accused Surat Meena had applied for General Science subject. A dummy candidate was made to sit in the written examination of General Science held on 24 December 2022. Later, a dummy candidate was also made to sit in the General Knowledge and Educational Psychology examination held on 29 January 2023. Accused Surat Meena had struck a deal to make a dummy candidate sit for Rs 15 lakh through an active member of the gang providing dummy candidates.
Arrest happened after 9 months
After making dummy candidates sit in the examinations of both the papers, Surat Meena was selected in the senior teacher recruitment. The accused also joined the job. Later, when a complaint was received against the accused, a case was registered in SOG on 27 December 2023. After investigation, the accused Surat Meena has now been arrested. After presenting him in the court, he has been taken on police remand till September 11. Now the dummy candidate and the broker are being searched on the identification of Surat Meena.
