Kota : A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Kota, Rajasthan. While a son should be the support of his parents in their old age, a son in Kota became a beast for his own father. He killed his father in a minor quarrel. There was actually no reason for this heart-wrenching murder. According to the information received by the police, Bhimganj Mandi police station arrested Saavan Kumar, accused of killing his father, in the murder case that took place on July 22 at Nehru Nagar in front of the old railway gate. Actually, Vimala Bai, wife of the deceased Chhotulal, had filed a report regarding his sudden death. During the investigation, the post-mortem of the body of the deceased Chhotulal was conducted. In the investigation, Chhotulal’s death seemed suspicious, after which evidence was collected secretly.
Mother did not file a report, younger son lodged a complaint
Meanwhile, on 26 July, the deceased’s younger son Rahul filed a report that he lives with his mother and his wife in a rented house in Nehru Nagar. His elder brother Saavan also lives with him. On 22 July, Saavan and his father Chhotulal were both at home. Wife Sonia had gone to the nearby Shiva temple and Rahul had taken his mother to the hospital. Rahul says that during this time Saavan fought with his father Chhotulal and while beating him, he hit him on the head and chest. There were injury marks near Chhotulal’s ear as well, due to which he died. The family members got scared after seeing the father’s body, but to save the elder son, mother Vimala Bai did not file a murder report. Rahul told in his complaint that brother Saavan had killed his father Chhotulal. On this report, a case was registered under section 103(1) BNS and investigation was started.
He killed his father in a quarrel
In view of the seriousness of the incident, the Superintendent of Police constituted a special team under the direction of Dilip Kumar Saini, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kota City. Taking the matter seriously, the accused Saavan Kumar (28) son of Chhotulal, resident of Nehru Nagar in front of the old railway gate was rounded up and after thorough investigation, the accused was arrested. In the initial interrogation, the accused confessed his crime and told that he used to work in the railway parcel office while living on rent. On July 22, due to a quarrel between the accused and the deceased Chhotulal, the son fought with his own father and beat him up, due to which the deceased suffered serious injuries on the head and other places, due to which the father died on the spot.
