New Delhi, November 20 (IANS). Voting was held for by-elections on nine assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the case of murder of a Dalit girl in Karhal, Mainpuri has come to light.
Samajwadi Party leader Prashant Yadav is accused of murdering the girl. According to the relatives of the deceased, the girl was murdered because she had refused to support and vote for the Samajwadi Party. The girl had expressed her desire to vote for BJP.
BJP has attacked Samajwadi Party on this whole issue. BJP leader in Delhi Shehzad Poonawala said that the Dalit girl was murdered because she had decided to vote for the BJP. She did not want to vote for Samajwadi Party. Samajwadi Party talks about PDA (Backward-Dalit-Minorities), but its leaders rape girls. Now a Dalit girl has been brutally murdered and her body has been recovered. SP leader Prashant Yadav is behind this. The father alleges that he had refused to vote for the Samajwadi Party. Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav will not say anything on this matter. He has been protecting his leaders earlier also. Now we will save Prashant Yadav.”
In this matter, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote in a post on social media platform X that the panic and frustration of the Samajwadi Party is clearly visible in the by-elections. The brutal murder of Dalit daughter in Karhal has exposed the hooliganism and dark deeds of SP. Fake voting, deployment of outside anarchists and baseless allegations against the Election Commission are part of SP’s ‘politics of plunder’. SP is just an army of goons, mafias, rioters and murderers. The people of Uttar Pradesh have always rejected this misgovernance. Now democracy will prevail, not plunder.
Second Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak wrote on the social media platform The victim’s family says that the daughter was murdered only because she refused to vote for the Samajwadi Party. This murder is not just a murder of a daughter but of democracy.
He assured the victim’s family of strict action against the culprits.
