Noida, November 13 (IANS). If you are driving a vehicle on the wrong side in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, then be cautious. Noida Traffic Police is going to take action against such people.
Noida Police has specifically told the people in the awareness program running throughout the month of November that people driving four wheelers in Noida who use the wrong side will be given a notice that action will be taken against them.
Noida Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh has said that under the awareness campaign, the work of registration and verification of autos has been carried out so that the number of autos plying on the roads can be known. We have found in our assessment that most of the accidents occur due to vehicles coming from the other side. A short film has been released today to raise awareness. We hope that all the people of Gautam Buddha Nagar district will become a part of the campaign and focus their attention.
On the occasion of Traffic Month, Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh gave a traffic awareness message to all the citizens through a video message regarding road safety. He told through video message that we should not put our lives and that of others in danger by taking a wrong turn just to save a few seconds. Every year thousands of citizens lose their lives in road accidents. A little caution and a little time can save our lives. Therefore, drive carefully on the road and save your life and that of others.
