In view of the world’s largest cultural program, a complete plan has been prepared for the safety of 45 crore people. For this, a security cordon of four zones has been created for water police.
In which security personnel divided into 107 beats will be deployed on the spot to protect the devotees coming from India and abroad. Apart from a total of 10 company PAC, SDRF, NDRF and 141 security personnel, guards are being deployed on 700 boats. Many teams of health workers are working together with them.
IG PAC East Zone Dr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra said that 10 company PAC will be ready for the security of the devotees coming from India and abroad during Mahakumbh. During Mahakumbh, about 45 crore devotees from India and abroad are expected to reach Prayagraj. Special arrangements have been made for the security of the devotees coming to take bath in the Sangam. In which the security personnel are divided into 107 beats. Not only this, to ensure that bathers do not face any kind of inconvenience, modern water control rooms equipped with doctors and Jan Aushadhi centers are being built. Water Police is preparing to build 16 sub-control rooms along with separate police stations and posts. So that every facility can be provided to the devotees in the blink of an eye.
He said that to prevent any untoward incident, barricading is being made by connecting floating blocks of thermo-plastic, on which police personnel will be deployed 24 hours. There will be no possibility of boats colliding during bathing, adequate arrangements are being made for this also. Under which a reflective river line is being built using solar energy. Because of which no sailor will be able to violate the lane.
The Yogi government has made special arrangements for the safety of the devotees coming to Prayagraj from India and abroad during Mahakumbh. Under this, a security cordon has been created by dividing the water police into four zones.
First zone (Sangam area):- The first will be the Sangam zone, in which 290 PSC, SDRF, NDRF, 8 PSC divers, 30 security personnel, 18 private divers, 26 home guards, 27 motor boats and 113 boats have been deployed for security arrangements in 25 beats. Are.
Second Zone (Banyan Ghat):- Second zone will be around Banyan Ghat. In this second zone, there will be 33 security personnel, 100 PAC and NDRF SDRF, 50 Home Guards, 40 PSC divers, 50 private divers, 24 motor boats and 77 boats in 28 beats.
Third Zone (Sangam area to Durvasa):- The third zone will be from Sangam area to Durvasa. In this third zone, 21 security personnel, 68 PAC and SDRF, NDRF, 16 private divers, 28 home guards, 8 motor boats and 99 boats will be available for security under 16 beats.
Fourth Zone (Sangam area to Phaphamau):- The fourth zone will have 38 beats, which will have 50 security personnel and PAC, SDRF and NDRF 210, 14 PSC divers, 19 private divers, 64 home guards, 33 motor boats and 311 boats.
