Split in BJP over Kirori Lal’s brother getting ticket, see which candidates from Ramgarh and Jhunjhunu in the video

Jaipur : BJP has announced the names of 6 out of 7 candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly by-elections. As soon as BJP finalized the ticket of Kirori Lal Meena’s brother Jagmohan Meena on the general seat in Dausa Assembly by-election, the sounds of rebellion started echoing here. BJP leader Devi Singh, who was claiming the ticket, held a press conference in a rebellious tone and announced that she would contest the elections as an independent candidate. He said that Dausa assembly seat is a general seat, on which BJP has given ticket to ST candidate. While many candidates from the general category were in the queue, all of them were sidelined.

Announcement to contest independent elections
In protest against this, Devi Singh Dausa says that I myself was asking for the ticket, but no problem, I was not given the ticket. Let us tell you that there are three general category seats in the district (Dausa, Mahua and Bandikui). Even in Mahua and Bandikui, the first general category candidate was not given ticket, which we tolerated without any rebellion. Now Dosa was the only seat in the district where it was expected that BJP would field a general category candidate. But BJP did not do this, due to which he rebelled and announced that he will contest the elections as an independent.

Devi Singh’s spilled pain

Devi Singh Dausa asked whether the general category people are only voters? Because the general category voters had voted for Kanhaiya Lal Meena in the Lok Sabha elections due to the availability of reserved seats, it is a different matter that he could not win. Congress had already been giving tickets to ST candidates on general seats. Therefore, it was useless to expect anything from him. He said that he will contest the upcoming assembly by-elections, it does not matter whether he wins or loses. It is also important to make the parties realize that not giving a chance to a common candidate may prove wrong for both the parties.

Waiting for Congress candidate

Although the Congress ticket has not been finalized yet, it is expected that the Congress may trust SC candidate DC Berwa, former Pradhan. And if this happens, then definitely some leader from the general category can join the independent party, which will definitely spoil the calculations of both the parties.
