Sriganganagar : Cyber station police on Friday arrested three accused in the case of digital arrest of a couple of village 22 ML of the district by threatening them of wrongly depositing money in their account and fraud of Rs 1.05 crore. Among these accused, one is from Dausa and two are from Jaipur, although currently all three accused live in Sangener, Jaipur. The police have arrested them and brought them back. The defrauded amount was finally deposited in his account only. In such a situation, they have been arrested and interrogation has been started. His remand has been taken for three days.
This money had come into the account of the accused from some other account. Now the police is trying to reach the main accused. this was the case Jaswindra Kaur, wife of village 22 ML Sohansingh, in her report to the police on November 18, said that a video call came on her husband’s phone. The caller, introducing himself as a CBI officer, said that money has been wrongly deposited in her husband’s account and a case has been registered in this regard in Delhi. The victim’s husband was threatened with seven years’ imprisonment in this case. The accused told him that if he wanted to avoid punishment, he would have to deposit the money in his account in the account specified by them. The victim’s husband deposited Rs 1 crore 5 lakh 69 thousand 960 in the account given by the accused after receiving repeated calls from them.
After depositing the money, when the calls of the accused started going unanswered, the couple realized that they had been cheated. Money transferred from one account to another After the fraud, the accused started transferring money from one account to another. After transaction of money in about 150 accounts, the police found out that the money was in the accounts of youths living in Sanganer, Jaipur. On this, the police team arrested Kishan Singh Rajawat, son of Mukesh Singh Rajawat, resident of village Mahariya in Lalsot tehsil of Dausa district from Jaipur. He lives on rent in Narayan Vihar area in Sanganer, Jaipur. Along with him, Mohit Soni, son of Gangaram Soni, resident of Laxmi Colony, Sanganer and Ajay Prajawat, son of Ramdev Prajapat, resident of Sunder Nagar, Sanganer were arrested. All three accused have been taken on remand.
