Sriganganagar : CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) department on Thursday raided Shri Hanumant Trading Company located near Anupgarh Singh Sabha Gurudwara. The action started at 11 am under the leadership of Inspector Dilip Goswami. Inspector Dilip Goswami said – During the investigation of the sale-purchase bills of the firm, recovery of Rs 9 to 10 lakh has come to light. However, the action is still going on and the correct figures will be revealed only after complete investigation.
During the action, the stock and other documents present at the firm were thoroughly examined. The action of CGST team continued till 7 pm. Inspector Goswami said that the entire matter will be revealed only after the investigation is completed. He said that the department is trying to stop GST evasion by conducting surprise inspections of various firms. In this sequence, today the team of Sri Ganganagar raided Shri Hanumant Trading Company in Anupgarh.
